LAAP
All LAAP students will graduate ready to succeed in both college as well as in a high-wage role in the production industry, equipped with a TOPS University Diploma or TOPS TECH Diploma, industry-based credentials from LAAP’s Production Career Pathway Program, and membership in the ARRAY Crew personnel database.
Baton Rouge Community College
The Career and Technical Certificate (CTC) in Film and New Media Production covers all phases of the production cycle, including pre-production, production, and post-production. Courses in the CTC cover editing and visual effects/motion graphics using Adobe Premiere and Adobe AfterEffects. Upon completion of the CTC in Film and New Media Production, students will be eligible to test for the Adobe Certified Associate – Video Communication using Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Certified Associate – Visual Effects and Motion Graphics using AfterEffects.
Southern University
The Digital Media Arts is your chance to dive into the exciting world of digital media. Whether you're into filmmaking, music production, design, live events, or sports media, they have a path for you. This program helps you gain the skills and build the portfolio you need to succeed. It's a place where you can experiment, create, and build the future you've always imagined.
Louisiana State University
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film & Television is designed as a preprofessional degree program for students interested in entering the film and television industry upon graduation. This program will allow you to explore various aspects of the production process including directing, screenwriting, and cinematography.
The BFA in Film & Television is a selective admissions program which requires prospective students to submit additional application materials for admissions consideration.
NOVAC
After 45 years, NOVAC is the longest continuously running media-arts 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the Gulf South. We believe storytellers empower communities, so we empower storytellers, with creative, educational and economic opportunities.
