ENTERTAINMENT WORKFORCE TRAINING GRANT
The Louisiana Office of Entertainment Industry Development has implemented a $2 million pilot program for entertainment workforce training. With production numbers hitting a record high in 2008, workers trained to fit growing entertainment industry demands are becoming increasingly vital to Louisiana's economy.
Businesses and organizations may apply for funds to hold courses to train workers in film, live performance, sound recording, or digital interactive work.
